about

I am a communications strategist for arts and education initiatives whose work supports the development of new programs and strategic planning. My background as a nonfiction writer and lifelong explorer of artistic practices inform and inspire a creative approach to my work.

I received a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and returned to western Massachusetts after a decade of work as a freelance arts and culture writer and leader of community-based arts organizations. I hold an M.A. in Arts Administration from Columbia University Teachers College and spent seven years at Hampshire College, where I served as the director of two interdisciplinary arts programs. I am currently the director of the Arts and Communication Program in Amherst College's Loeb Center for Career Exploration & Planning.
